With our #StuffTheBus event concluded, and hundreds of backpacks in the hands of children in need, we wanted to thank the volunteers and collection sites for their big help with this initiative. Thank you to AAA Northeast, Balise Motor Sales, Peter Pan Bus Lines, Inc, Steve Lewis Subaru, and Western Mass News for hosting collection sites; and to Eversource Energy, MGM Springfield, Monson Savings Bank, Health New England and our Community Volunteers for stuffing bags and their hard work to make yesterday happen. With a staff of only 10 people, we wouldn't be able to make a difference without YOUR help. Another year of the bus going round and round, all through the towns, is in the books! We had a blast riding all throughout Hampden County today, delivering backpacks to schools with children experiencing homelessness. A big thank you to the Picknelly family and Peter Pan Bus Lines, Inc for their help with this event. Everything from collecting backpacks and supplies, to loading (and providing) the Peter Pan Bus, you truly helped make this day a success.
