Our new Mobile Mammography Unit is moving cancer care forward through prevention and early detection — all over the state of Missouri! We’re so excited to celebrate the unveiling of our new unit — which houses the same advanced 3D mammography you’ll find in our facilities. This 34-ft unit replaces our previous Mamm Van, which traveled over 120,000 miles and provided upwards of 300 mammograms a month. Thanks to all who came to celebrate the unveiling, and a special thanks to Pink Pursuit for the generous donation that helped make it possible.

What’s better than enjoying a good book? Sharing 2,600 of them with local students! We had a blast partnering with Heart of Missouri United Way for the Read Across Columbia program, delivering books to five elementary schools. The program works to break down barriers to literacy by helping put stories into the hands (and homes!) of young readers. Our team — including TJ — had so much fun making these special deliveries!

Did you know the average size of a breast cancer lump found through self-exams is about the size of a strawberry? Our very own breast surgical oncologist, Dr. Nicole Nelson, shares how our advanced 3D mammograms can spot cancer early on — making it easier to treat. Moving cancer care forward means having strong partnerships to deliver the best, most informed care for our patients.
We’re proud to collaborate with University of Missouri Health Care to improve accessibility to high-quality diagnostic tests in cancer care. High-quality diagnostic tests are a critical component of precision medicine. Through our work with medical institutions and stakeholders across the oncology industry, we are prioritizing patient access to these tests so that patients and their healthcare providers can receive accurate, reliable information to confidently inform treatment options.
