Kevin Fedarko is a seasoned author and journalist renowned for his exploration of the American Southwest and his fervent advocacy for environmental conservation. He has been a staff writer at TIME magazine and a senior editor at Outside Outside. His writing has appeared in National Geographic, The New York Times, and Esquire magazine, among other publications.
Zak Podmore is an award-winning author and journalist who has spent more than a decade writing about water and conservation issues in the western United States. He is the author of two books published by Torrey House Press. Zak is the recipient of the Ellen Meloy Fund for Desert Writers award and was the Entrada Institute's writer-in-residence in 2023.
As a scholar-educator at California State University-San Bernardino, Yolonda Youngs is dedicated to communicating timely and insightful research about the environment, culture, public lands policy, and tourism to public and scholarly audiences. Her work includes expertise in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Teton National Park, the American West, and Europe.
This panel, moderated by WNPA President and CEO Marie Buck, CPA (MD), CMA, CFM, SHRM-CP, takes place at 1 PM on March 15 at The National Park Experience Pavilion, located across from the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium on the main campus of the University of Arizona.
