USTA Florida was honored to be a platinum sponsor at the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation Champions for Children Gala, where we celebrated the incredible impact this organization has on students in underserved communities. Through education, mentorship, and sports, MWYF is building opportunities and creating brighter futures—and we’re proud to stand alongside them in this important mission. Congratulations to the foundation on another successful gala, and thank you for inspiring us all with your tireless efforts! Together, we’re shaping future leaders both on and off the court.

To promote & develop tennis for all!
About us
As a volunteer organization we not only help people play tennis, we also help build communities. And we have been doing it for over 65 years. Our mission is to promote & develop tennis for all! WE HELP PEOPLE PLAY TENNIS We help people play tennis, and we’ve been doing it for 65 years. From Youth to College to Adult, we make tennis fun for all. We work with public and private facilities and organizations across the state to create more opportunities for you to play. That’s our mission and we’re pretty proud of it. WE BUILD COMMUNITIES When you join USTA Florida, you are helping to (re)build courts, putting racquets in kids’ hands, and getting programs up and running in your local park or facility. Since 2010 alone, we’ve given more than $1 million in grants for equipment, courts and programs. Members, like you, make all of that possible. WE ARE VOLUNTEERS That’s right, we’re a non-for-profit, volunteer-led organization that works each and every day of the year to serve our more than 40,000 individual and nearly 1,000 organization members. It takes a lot of people to grow tennis in Florida, and our volunteers come from all walks of life. They have one thing in common: a LOVE of tennis.

Our All-Girl Tennis Camp at Florida A&M University in partnership with Black Girls Tennis Club was an incredible step forward for our #WomenInTennis initiative. We didn’t just teach the game; we built confidence and inspired these young girls to see themselves as future trailblazers and leaders. We extend heartfelt thanks to FAMU and Black Girls Tennis Club for collaborating with us to make this camp such a meaningful experience. Your dedication has changed these girls’ lives and helped them unlock their potential—on and off the court.

During #HispanicHeritageMonth, we are honored to spotlight Alejandro and Daria from Sanlando, whose experiences highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in tennis. “When I started, I didn’t speak English… I found people who spoke my language, and it was comforting,” Alejandro shared. His story is a reminder of how embracing diverse backgrounds strengthens communities—both on and off the court. For Daria, meeting others with similar experiences fostered her confidence. “You feel more connected to the sport by finding someone else from your country,” she reflected. Even beyond this one month, let’s celebrate the connections and shared experiences that empower us all through the world's healthiest sport—tennis. 🎾💙 READ THEIR STORIES LEA SUS HISTORIAS ➡️ https://ow.ly/HxmE50TM8sf
