We're grateful to share that our community came together in an incredible way for the 16th annual Hike, Wine & Dine, raising over $236,000 and surpassing our fundraising goal! 🧡 The generosity of our event sponsors, participants, and benefactors brings hope to our cancer patients by enabling Shaw Cancer Center to provide the Spirit of Survival Program and a comfortable home away from home at Jack's Place. A special thank you to our Platinum Presenting Sponsors and Golden Aspen Sponsors, including Rhize Tech, The Resnick Family, The Florescue Foundation, Frampton Family, Anne Kubik, and The Sayers Foundation, who went above and beyond in their support. Mark your calendars for next year's event on September 28, 2025! 🍂 #VailHealthFoundation #HikeWineDine #CancerSupport

Our very own Paige Bordelon was invited to present at American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) this month. She presented research aimed to understand breast cancer patients’ perceptions of information provided from their oncology providers in their Survivorship Care Plans (SCPs). A SCP is intended to provide cancer survivors with details about their oncology care to inform the transition to follow-up after primary cancer treatment is completed. Our study demonstrated that patients value the information in the SCP on follow-up appointments, long-term outcomes, and lifestyle recommendations.

Vail Health Behavioral Health has implemented a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, streamlining the way patient data is captured and shared across various behavioral health services, including office visits, outpatient therapy sessions, case management, and peer support. “Implementing the Cerner Integrated Behavioral Health EMR is about more than meeting regulatory requirements; it’s about providing coherent, continuous care that addresses all aspects of our patients’ behavioral health needs,” says Kim Goodrich, Vail Health Behavioral Health’s Community Mental Health Center Program Improvement Director. Implementing the EMR was made possible by generous gifts from the Borgen and Bronfman families. Learn more ➡️ https://loom.ly/kR0Rz58 #VailHealthFoundation #NonProfitsColorado #EagleValley #EMR

A long-time resident of Eagle County, Jay Precourt made a lasting positive impact on this world and our community. Jay was previously on the Vail Health Hospital and Vail Health Foundation Boards. Personally and through the Precourt Family Foundation, Jay made significant philanthropic contributions to Vail Health, including Vail Health's Cardiovascular Center, Cardiac Catheterization Lab (named the Precourt Family Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab), Endocrinology, It Takes A Valley: Transforming Behavioral Health, and Together: The Campaign for a Healthy, Active Tomorrow. Most recently, Jay and his daughter, Amanda Precourt, have been a driving force in transforming the behavioral health landscape in the Valley, and the Precourt Healing Center will ensure his legacy continues for generations. Jay will be greatly missed, and we extend our deepest sympathies to his entire family.

A new stress echocardiogram (echo) space at Vail Health's Cardiovascular Center is improving patient care with advanced equipment and improved facilities. Previously, only one stress echo test could be conducted at a time, leading to delays. The new setup allows two patients to be processed simultaneously, significantly reducing wait times. Additionally, the center acquired two state-of-the-art echo ultrasound machines, offering higher accuracy in interpreting results.
