Isn’t she lovely? 🤩 Earlier this week, we proudly placed a Caterpillar Inc. 955 loader on the 5th floor of our new headquarters at Valor Acres. Rooted in rich history, this loader was purchased in 1966 for $16,000. It performed the excavation of Elmwood pond in the city of Independence by Vic DiGeronimo Sr. and close family friend, Mel Kurtz Sr., along with many local projects, concurrently. It was rebuilt in 2014 by several heavy shop mechanics under the direction of Terry Tomasko and Dick Miller, with help from our partners at Ohio Cat and Granger Tractor. Incorporating this significant piece of history into our new home, serves as a poignant reminder of the foundational values instilled by our founders and the ongoing legacy of innovation and growth ahead. . . #Milestones #Evolution #CAT Independence Construction DiGeronimo Companies
