We are excited to announce the appointment of Karen Ali as Chief Operating Officer (COO) JFK Millennium Partners (JMP). JMP, led by Vantage, manages #Terminal7 and is spearheading the development of a new #JFKT6. With nearly 20 years of experience in operations management, project leadership, and business transformation, Ali will work closely with Steven Thody, CEO of JMP, to create a world-class plan for both the existing Terminal 7 and the new Terminal 6. Her responsibilities include ensuring safety, security, operational excellence, and maximizing commercial revenue. The $4.2 billion Terminal 6 project aims to set a new standard in #passengerexperience and airline operations. With nearly 300 global entries, this year’s competition was fierce.   Here is the list of wins around the network: 🏆 Kansas City International Airport (MCI): After just over a year of operation, MCI’s locally inspired concession program secured the FAB Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year for the Americas & Caribbean. Developed in collaboration with the Kansas City Aviation Department, this program features nearly 50 diverse eating and shopping concepts, with 80% of them being #local to the region. It proudly showcases Kansas City’s premier flavors, artisans, and history, while also driving economic activity and supporting local businesses.   🌴 Sangster International Airport (Jamaica): Bob Marley’s One Love Restaurant received four FAB Awards: ➡ Airport Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year ➡ Airport Food & Beverage Offer Best Representing Sense of Place (Americas & Caribbean) ➡ Airport Restaurant Design of the Year ➡ Airport Food & Beverage Opening of the Year (Americas & Caribbean). The restaurant, in partnership with MBJ Airports Limited, Margaritaville Caribbean Group, and The Design Solution, celebrates local Jamaican and Caribbean flavors.   🧘♀️ LaGuardia Airport: The Chase Sapphire Lounge, in partnership with LaGuardia Gateway Partners, Airport Dimensions, and JPMorganChase, was awarded the Airport Lounge Food & Beverage Offering of the Year. Our trophy case is filling up! During the 2024 Airport Concessions Awards hosted by Airports Council International-North America (ACI World - Airports Council International-NA) on June 12th in Miami, Vantage Airport Group and #KansasCity International Airport earned two prestigious awards: the top honor of the Richard A.
