Could not agree with you more Tom Soto. Thank you for your decades of advocacy increasing access to capital for Latine founders, investors and communities! In this amazing event Alejandro Guerrero shared a few words of wisdom that resonated deeply and I want to elevate his words to inspire our future leaders at the REĀL Nueva Gen, Real Estate Assoc. of Latinx Professionals. 1. Please, Thank You, and Sorry—three simple, yet essential words in business that go a long way in building relationships and trust. 2. Success is on the other side of a decade. Anything worthwhile takes time—true success doesn’t come overnight. 3. Seek therapy! Entrepreneurship is a tough journey. No matter how strong you feel, we all need support to thrive. Thank you to VCFamilia and especially to Renata Aráuz-DeStefano for always creating a welcoming and collaborative space to uplift and advance our communities.
Here is to Gen 3 of fighting for parity in fund management for Latinos. #VCFamilia is our future! Thank you for carrying the torch for the next generation of success. Of the $78 trillion in assets under management, still less than 2% is committed to Latino/Latina funds. Despite Latinos collectively being the 5th largest economy in the world, equal to that of California, and making up 20% of the population, after 25 years of struggle, our share of the market has actually shrunk as markets have grown and expanded. As I often say, 'The last frontier of civil rights is access to capital. We cannot build community wealth without first building personal success.' The fight continues! Congratulations to #MariaLopezRosas, my long-time friend, Alejandro Guerrero, and my NAA brother, #CyrilMeduna for being recognized tonight at the #VCFamiliaAnnualAwards dinner. Congratulations!" #LatinoLeadership #AccessToCapital #WealthBuilding #CommunitySuccess #LatinoFunds #Impact

Loving these photos and notes from our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration in Chicago! And look, they caught VCFamilia member Leandro Bedolla from M25 in one of the shots!
What an amazing night with our Familia community in #Chicago!🎉 Around 60 incredible Latine investors and founders joined us to celebrate our heritage and connect with each other. A huge shoutout to our fantastic city leads, Zimri Rodriguez and Fernando Carranza, for hosting such a memorable evening, and a big thank you to Silicon Valley Bank and the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) for their incredible support.
