Dear Valued Clients and Readers, I trust this letter finds you well. It is with mixed emotions that I write to you today, as we bid farewell to a chapter that has been incredibly meaningful to us. After 14 years of dedicated commitment, we have made the difficult decision to close Venue Magazine. In September 2023, we took a significant step by selling our company to a private equity firm. This transition marked the end of an era, and our beloved Venue Magazine was the last part of our cherished portfolio. The other segment of our company, CDO Magazine, has grown to become a global leader, reaching readers in 184 out of 195 countries, with an audience nearing 400,000. Our journey as pioneers in data and AI for C-suite executives has been nothing short of humbling, and I’m reminded that we are writing history in real-time as we build a global community whose work is shaping the 21st century. As we close the doors on Venue Magazine, we are embarking on a new season of life and career. At 54, my wife and I have felt a calling to channel my efforts into this last season of my professional journey, focusing on the continued growth and innovation of CDO Magazine and its global community. I am pleased to share that we are equity partners in the new company, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. The decision to part ways with Venue Magazine was not taken lightly, as my wife and I started it from the humble beginnings of our spare bedroom. The memories, challenges, and triumphs will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Our final issue, published in January 2024, marks the end of an era. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years. It has been an honor serving you, and we are grateful for the relationships and connections forged through the pages of Venue Magazine. As we close this chapter, we look forward to the future with optimism and enthusiasm. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. For further updates on our journey, please visit CDOMagazine.tech. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 513-405-6822. Wishing you all the best, Steve and Kim Wanamaker, Founders Venue Magazine Steve@venuemag.net
