Authorizations can be one of the most time-consuming tasks in a doctor's office, causing frustration for both patients and staff. What if there was a way to streamline the process and improve patient engagement? One idea is to outsource authorization tasks to another company, allowing surgery schedulers to focus solely on scheduling patients. Additionally, if schedulers are stuck on hold with insurance companies, communicating with patients via text could help patients feel heard and valued. Our software is designed to help practices improve patient engagement and we're always looking for new ideas to make their jobs easier. What are your thoughts on making this process better? #healthcare #patientsatisfaction #medicalstaff #patientengagement

Patients always want to know what their financial portion is for for MRI’s, CT scans, and other procedures they may have. Along with all of our other great features, we are able to provide them what their out of pocket cost will be once we recieve their authorizations. We have seen an increase of patient responsibilities being payed on or before their procedures are done as they are made aware in advance what their cost will be.

Did you know that 97% of patients believe that how long they are kept on hold is a direct reflection of a healthcare provider's customer service? Furthermore, 60% of patients will hang up and not call back if placed on hold for over a minute. (Source: AMN Healthcare) Patient no-show rates can range from 5% to 30%, causing significant revenue loss for providers, and long phone hold times cost healthcare organizations up to $900,000 annually. (Sources: Becker's Hospital Review, Customer Service Solutions Center) Additionally, 67% of patients will end up switching providers due to poor customer service experiences. (Source: American Academy of Family Physicians) However, 63% of patients are more likely to return to their provider if they have a positive experience with customer service. (Source: HealthGrades) Amidst these challenges, 68% of healthcare providers believe that utilizing technology to automate tasks will improve the patient experience and quality of care. (Source: Deloitte) What are your thoughts on how patient experiences can be improved?

Instant gratification is something that patients desire in order to feel valued, heard, and taken care of. This desire has increased since the onset of COVID-19 due to the immediate need for results and a solution. We have been able to cater to this demand by providing live updates to patients on their phones and enabling them to chat with a live person through text message. Although AI is the future of healthcare, patients still prefer to talk to a live person instead of a robot, as humans are better equipped to explain complicated situations or complications that may arise. As someone with ten years of experience in healthcare, I have encountered this issue regularly. My goal is to help improve the instant gratification of patients using other practices that can enhance their healthcare experience. I have observed an increase in patient satisfaction, and I am proud that Vytl can meet the wants and needs of patients.

In this day in age, people wants updates on their medical care in live time. They often question, if their referral has been sent, if their mri or surgery authorization has been started. Patients also want to know the tracking number of their authorization so they can call their insurance to folllow up. This is where the real frustration with patients come in. They will call their doctors office for an update where they are directed to leave a voicemail and then wait and wait until someone calls them back. Our technology has the capability to work with EMR systems to provide real time updates for patients so they can see where they are at in the process. This provides them satisfaction that they are being taken care of and not forgotten. Through each step of their authorization or their referral they are given live updates straight to their phone and in turn relieves them of having to call the doctors office and having to wait for a call back from a staff member.
