Fairfax Animal Hospital will always be special to the VetEvolve community as it was the first practice to partner with VetEvolve 10 years ago. While the practice has been successful in serving the community of Falls Church, Va. for nearly eight decades, it hasn’t been immune to the stresses and challenges that every veterinary practice has faced, including those of the COVID pandemic, veterinarian shortages, and personnel turnover. In our latest blog, read more about how Fairfax has embraced the core value 'Evolve' and is thriving. https://lnkd.in/e8Dy7jUS

Congratulations to Jacob, Vet Assistant at Big Lick Veterinary Services, who received his Fear Free and Low Stress Handling certifications! 🐾 Not only did Jacob complete both of these certifications, he did them both while both working full time and going to Vet Tech school full time - truly impressive! Jacob’s commitment to continuing to learn, grow, and elevate his skills is inspiring, and we’re lucky to have such a dedicated professional like him on our team! ❤️

Today we complete our month-long celebration of our core value, Serve, as we spent September recognizing the service and charity efforts of nominated team members who use their time outside of work to serve non-profits in their communities. Each team member was presented with a certificate and a donation to their charity in their honor. Read our latest blog that summarizes all of their efforts. Team--we are in awe of the ways you Serve your communities and are proud to have you as part of the VetEvolve community. https://lnkd.in/eAzbVtsK

When VetEvolve's student programs partner, Ashley Anderson, asked how to give back during her visit to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, a heartwarming collaboration was born with the Shelter Medicine Club, a student run non-profit. On July 6, 2024, Anderson and two VetEvolve veterinarians and Ross alums, Dr. Renee Addison and Dr. Vanessa Mitchell, joined students in a day of compassionate care in St. Kitts, treating over 300 animals and educating pet owners on preventative health. This inspiring event not only served the local community but also provided invaluable mentorship to future veterinarians, embodying VetEvolve's commitment to service and education. Thanks to Ashley, Dr. Addison and Dr. Mitchell for Serving the St. Kitts community! Read more about this community service project here: https://lnkd.in/ehZDYbfF
