If today’s median wage gap does not close, Latinas entering the workforce today stand to lose a staggering near $1.3 million over the course of a 40-year career. Get to know Luis Garcia, a member of our video team! Luis Garcia is an accomplished Creative Content Creator who has cultivated an extensive photography portfolio over the past decade. His journey began with a film photography course that sparked a lifelong passion, eventually leading him to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from San José State University. Continuously striving for growth, Luis is gearing up to pursue a master’s degree in business, with aspirations to combine his creative talents with business acumen, aiming to teach at the college level. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Luis's portfolio spans across various fields, including sports photography, marketing, and a thriving freelance wedding and portrait business. His innovative eye and ability to capture authentic moments have made him a sought-after photographer. At Voler, Luis has expanded his creative repertoire, diving into videography and refining his storytelling through dynamic visuals. He particularly enjoys collaborating with Voler’s clients, finding inspiration in the opportunity to bring their unique visions to life.
