Congratulations to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Amanda Nelson at the MANN GRANDSTAFF VA MEDICAL CENTER on being presented with the #ESGR #PatriotAward by Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) East Area Chair Jim Wynne. Nelson was nominated by Washington Air National Guard 1st Lt. Angela Brown who works at the Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center and is supervised by Nelson. I had only a few hours’ notice. This caused me to leave work early to pack my bags. She didn’t hesitate to support me and my spouse during that quickly changing time of the Covid-19 pandemic. She sacrificed her time to ensure that my concerns for military leave were met and continued to ensure that I had the peace of mind of being able to return to my civilian career after answering my nation’s call.” #SupportiveEmployer | Washington National Guard | Employer support of the Guard and Reserve Read more at https://lnkd.in/g4DYMQj2
