🌟 Introducing Our Humane Rescue Alliance “Pawp Ups”! 🐾 We’re bringing our mission to the streets of DC, meeting community members and sharing our passion for animal welfare through our exciting “Pawp Up” events! From engaging conversations to showcasing adoptable pets, our team, led by adoptions outreach coordinator Emma, has been hard at work. Our recent Pawp Up at Aslin Beer Company was filled with Halloween cheer and lots of smiles. A heartfelt thank you to local businesses that support us and help amplify our impact in the community! 🐾 A few weeks ago, some of our foster puppies and staff had the absolute honor of meeting THE Dr. Jane Goodall! 🐶💚 — Humane Rescue Alliance had the opportunity to bring some of our adorable pups to The Jane Goodall Institute in D.C. for a special visit. Dr. Goodall’s warmth and love for animals is truly inspiring! It was heartwarming to see her connect with our pups.🥰 This visit highlighted the intersection of animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and social equity—values we proudly share. It was a remarkable experience for both the pups and all involved. We’re beyond grateful and honored for this unique opportunity to bring some joy to such an inspiring figure. Thank you The Jane Goodall Institute for having us! 💙

🎉 It’s National Veterinary Technician Week! Join us in celebrating the amazing veterinary technicians here at Humane Rescue Alliance—both in the shelter and out in the field—who dedicate themselves to the care and well-being of our animals every day. Whether they’re in the shelter monitoring the health of our residents, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, or out in the field providing critical care to animals in need, our vet techs are always there, ensuring each animal receives the best possible attention and compassion. Their tireless work helps animals heal, thrive, and find their new families. 🐶🐱 This week, we honor all our veterinary techs for the incredible impact they have on the lives of animals and the people who love them. 💙
