The Watertown Community Foundation (WCF) is a 501(c)(3) public foundation that works to build and sustain a vibrant, close-knit community in Watertown, Massachusetts — now and for future generations. To accomplish this, WCF: Raises funds from individuals, families, foundations and businesses, Awards grants to non-profits and community projects serving Watertown, Builds networks of donors, grantees, program participants and stakeholders.

Happy #Pride! At C4T we’re committed to making sure everyone can bring their unique self to work. This month, we’re celebrating Pride and LGBTQIA+ communities, both at C4T and in our own city. In partnership with Watertown Community Foundation, we volunteered to paint hearts carrying messages of inclusivity and hung them around Watertown to help spread the joy of Pride. Within C4T, we’ve hung notes that answer the question, “How do you help others bring their unique self to work?” to encourage all of us to create a culture of belonging. We’re also looking forward to our DEI Council leading a discussion on allyship! #PrideMonth

It was our second year sponsoring the Watertown Community Foundation’s 2024 Watertown Helps Out event, and the #C4TxTeam had a blast participating together. This year our team pitched in at Commander’s Mansion, Perkin’s School for the Blind, Greenway Bike Path, Watertown Housing Authority and painted hearts for next month’s Watertown Pride event. We’re proud to support the Watertown community that has been our home since 2018.

From planting pollinator gardens at Perkins School for the Blind, to removing invasive plants along the Greenway Bikepath with Watertown Community Gardens, to tending grounds at the Watertown Housing Authority, you created seasons of beauty in our community. Your spring-cleaning efforts helped prepare the Commander’s Mansion for a summer’s worth of events, and your artistic contribution to the City of Watertown’s Pride Public Art Project will help Watertown celebrate our diverse and welcoming community. Yesterday morning, the Commander's Mansion welcomed 20 volunteers from their neighbors at Kymera Therapeutics for Watertown Helps Out 2024! Employees braved the rain for planting, primed materials for an upcoming community-wide art project, and helped with some heavy lifting and reorganization of inventory.
