Advertising LinkedIn is full of posts reminding us that no one wants to see our long PowerPoint introductions about ourselves. I think we all nod and understand that. And then make a deck with 30 slides of introductions about ourselves. One trick is to visualize your last appointment with a new doctor. What if they had told you how great they were for the entire appointment and never let you speak even once to tell them your problem? Or gave you 2 and a half minutes at the end for "any questions about me?" Sounds beyond belief. And would make you wonder, is this person even good at things? We've cut out all but a couple slides at Guesthouse, and it's been nice to focus on the client and what they have to say. We love shooting food and CPG brands. Check out this food and product-focused work we did for our friends at Magic Spoon, to go along with the campaign we shared yesterday. We shot the protein treats on greenscreen, worked in the gradients, and used VFX to make a little magic.
