We are on the tail end of a pretty big renovation and it’s exciting and overwhelming all at the same time! My first instinct with our new space is to drop everything and re-organize all the things, make 10 trips to salvation army, buy new furniture, and everything should have been done yesterday. Am I the only one like this? I feel myself needing to slow down and realize we will have our new space for years to come! Being thoughtful and intentional about the room will serve me better than rushing to have it feel complete. This is the mindset I bring to my clients in our physical therapy and fitness sessions. Yes, I deeply understand the anxious, busy mind and the strong desire to have everything perfect. And I deeply understand the real need to slow down, intentionally build successful habits and foundational strength that will lead to a lasting transformation.
