Earlier this summer, Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Bradford's HR Director, Donna Barry, retired! Friday was her last day, and so it was a bittersweet celebration. We are grateful that she spent the last 25 years working with Whittier and appreciate all her hard work! Donna started her career in 1993 as a 3-11 Unit Secretary. As the Unit Secretary for the Nursing department, she also filled in for the Nursing Administrative Assistant to the Director of Nursing when needed. In 2000, she transferred to Human Resources as our HR Assistant. She was promoted to HR Manager in 2005 and has only continued to prove how valuable she is to our team. Thank you for everything, Donna. Wishing you a happy retirement!

The Culinary Department at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center celebrated Joana's 75th birthday and 21 years at Oak Knoll! Joana, we are lucky to have you working with us for all these years!

Here is Sippican Healthcare Center's new Registered Therapy Dog, Clipper, along with his owner, Louis. Clipper is bilingual - he understands English and French commands. The residents absolutely adore him and love to give him treats!

Education is the key to success! Port Healthcare Center's annual educational rodeo for all our nursing staff was held, along with CPR training!

Arwen and Jay, Therapy dogs in training, came by Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Bradford last Thursday. We loved taking a moment out of our day to pet these amazing dogs, and we’re so excited about their future visits with our patients!

Ella Foster, CNA, was Nemasket Healthcare Center's Employee of the Month for June! Ella started as a co-op student 5 years ago and became one of our more dependable employees and we are grateful for her hard work and dedication.

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital Bradford was honored to welcome Senior Master Sergeant Robert Rivers from the United States Air Force earlier this summer. He delivered an inspiring customer service presentation to our Leadership team. Thank you, Sergeant Rivers, for sharing your valuable insight with our team!

Please join us in congratulating Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Bradford's June Distinguished Service Award Winner, Stacey Mandigo from Dietary! Stacey is a hard worker who is always pleasant with anyone who enters the Bistro. Recently, a visitor came into the Bistro looking for tea. The Bistro had closed and Stacey was cleaning. She took the time to make a cup of tea for the visitor. Thank you, Stacey, for your hard work and dedication! We are very lucky to have you on our team!
