Your donations are empowering girls escaping violence. At this rescue center we’ve installed a water well, improved the kitchen, started a chicken business, and built a protective perimeter fence. From the girls and from us: THANK YOU! Read more: https://lnkd.in/gzH4dSmd

Providing clean water in the developing world using the innovative Village Drill and rescuing girls from FGM
About us
The WHO in WHOlives stands for Water Health and Opportunity. We work every day to SOLVE the scarce and contaminated water issues that plague over 1 billion people. We utilize the revolutionary Village Drill to dig deep water boreholes for underserved populations. We are solving the global water crisis through self-empowerment, onsite training, and sustainable water points. WHO is also an acronym for Women’s Health and Opportunity where we fight to eliminate all forms of violence including the cutting, selling, and trafficking of young girls.

WHOlives Legacy Award Presented to Kirk & Crystal Kimbrell at our Empowerment Gala At our recent Empowermet Gala we recognized Kirk & Crystal Kimbrell, from Midland, Texas, with our WHOlives Legacy Award, symbolized through the Statue of Responsibility. The Statue of Responsibility is given to someone who has gone above and beyond to support our mission, and is our highest honor. This year we were thrilled to have the sculptor, Gary Lee Price, and his beautiful wife Leesa, tell us about the importance and inspiration behind the Statue of Responsibility. Congratulations to Kirk & Crystal.

What a beautiful, serene setting, on the Mara West. Our September 2024 Impact Mission team has such big hearts. From the first day we could tell that this was a divine group who quickly became best friends with each other and with the people they served. Don't speak English? No problem! Several in this group spoke universal languages making the experience more personal. We invite all to join us in 2025. https://lnkd.in/ghs-fQYr

WHOlivesorg reposted this
I just returned from Kenya with yet another experience of the truth of WHOlivesorg and our mission. The Salt Lake Kings English Bookshop donated sacks filled with books for the beautiful children. Here I’m reading in English to orphans. Their teacher read in Swahili. Books are a universal language. Thank you Cal Crosby

Our Sept 2024 group of 20 is here in beautiful Kenya! Started the day visiting 20 orphaned elephants and 1 baby rhino. Such joy! A ride to Kisumu on a twin prop and a good night’s rest at the beautiful Ciala. People from Mexico, Colombia, and the USA are on this trip with amazing businesses like Ulterra Drilling Technologies L.P. , Rego Consulting, Paramount Tax, and others who found us on the internet. It’s going to be a great week!

Our 2024 Empowermet Gala was a night of celebrating with new and dear friends from many states and countries. Celebrating what happens when passion meets purpose, when heart meets action, and when people like you, our incredible supporters, step up and decide to change the world. Over 60,000 more people have clean water in the last 12 months. Community Health has skyrocketed. Children are in school full-time. Females no longer live in fear of human and animal predators while taking the long walk to water. Some milestones so far in 2024 include: 13 million people have clean water 14,000 wells drilled 42 countries 3,500 girls rescued along the way Over 100 arrests for those perpetrators of female genital mutilation Our sincerest thanks to all those who helped raise almost $150,000 for our programs and mission. We are humbled and awed by the love that you freely give to those you have never met. Clayton Hutchinson Ulterra Drilling Technologies L.P. Patterson-UTI Redmond Lonny Ward US Synthetic
