What fantastic days we had with our Key Partner, Dell Medical School, in Austin, Texas! Stephen Ekker and Z. Leah Harris crafted an incredible schedule for us to meet their team members at both the Children's Hospital and the Research center. We were truly impressed and it was a dream to engage with all these amazing individuals. We also had the opportunity to meet parents who have established organizations to help find cures for their children's rare diseases. Thank you all for the incredible work you are doing, and for partnering with the Wilhelm Foundation! Now on our way to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Science in Society meeting! Looking forward to engaging discussions and collaborations.

Yesterday, Wilhelm Foundation had the pleasure of attending the Positive Exposure Annual Fundraiser and Celebration of Humanity Gala. It was a truly wonderful evening, filled with new and old friends, as we came together to celebrate beauty and diversity in all its forms. By the end of the evening, the Wilhelm Foundation was #honored with the Positive Exposure Spirit of Change Award 2024 Additionally, James Barnett and Samantha DiSalvo received the POSITIVE EXPOSURE Rising Leader Award 2024. A special tribute closed the evening, as Positive Exposure paid heartfelt respects to the life of a dear friend and passionate advocate, Carr Massi. Celebrating 10 Years of Global Impact! Ten years ago, driven by the urgent need to bring answers to families living with undiagnosed diseases, the Wilhelm Foundation united experts to share knowledge, debate data, and explore innovative approaches to accelerate diagnoses. What started as a small gathering, alongside Dir William A. Gahl (NIH) and Dir Domenica Taruscio (ISS), has grown into a global movement!
