“The past has been good, the present is great, but the best is yet to come.” – Dr. Torrey Johnson, Willow Valley Communities first board president. This year, Willow Valley Communities is celebrating its 40th anniversary. At a celebration event last week, Residents and Team Members enjoyed a conversation with Willow Valley Communities founder, Marlin Thomas, and former Willow Valley Living CEO, John Swanson. The pair shared their views and insights on the organization’s remarkable 40-year history and how it continues to shape our future. Marlin and John took us back in time to the inception of Willow Valley Communities, sharing milestones, foundational philosophies, and the organization’s innovative vision that have made our community so distinctive over the span of four decades.
