It’s National Renewable Energy Day! What a great morning we had with the Seneca County community, celebrating the start of construction on a renewable natural gas processing facility at our Fostoria site. The facility will convert the landfill gas we collect into an in-demand fuel — renewable natural gas. In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re proud to spotlight Alyssa Charlemagne, an Operations Technician at our Falls #wastetoenergy facility in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Over the past year, Alyssa has played a vital role in operations, safety, environmental compliance, and maintenance — helping to keep our facility running smoothly. Beyond her work in the plant, she’s passionate about inspiring the next generation, visiting local schools to highlight the exciting and rewarding career opportunities in the waste industry. Alyssa is energized by the growing presence of women in leadership and looks forward to the continued opportunities and experiences WIN Waste provides.

The WIN Waste #Baltimore team was happy to partner with Pleasant Beginnings and Safe Streets McElderry Park, two groups dedicated to building safer, more beautiful neighborhoods every day. This weekend, we worked together to fill an entire dumpster and got it done before the storms rolled through.
