A lot of conversation today centers around using AI to write code. But what about reviewing code? AI can provide near-instantaneous feedback, allowing authors to address issues in real time without waiting for a human reviewer to become available. https://lnkd.in/eC_weWg7

As a developer what if you could get instant feedback on your code? Graphite is making this a reality. “How much faster can AI make my developers?” Or, more controversially, “can AI replace them altogether?” The answer to these questions, like so many other hotly-debated engineering discussions over the years is “it depends.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/euPrJ6_r

The fastest moving developer teams like Isometric use Graphite to stack their pull requests, and ship better quality code, faster. 🚀 Tired of being blocked on code review? Try Graphite for free: https://gt.dev
Last week we hosted Isometric's first tech meetup at our central London rooftop terrace. Myself and Konrad were joined by friends at incident.io (👋 Lisa & Alicia!) to argue that it is possible to ship products fast with very high quality. During the panel discussion, Konrad shared one stat that dominated our conversations throughout the rest of the evening: a median pull request at Isometric is reviewed within 29 minutes, and deployed to production within an hour and a half. How do we achieve this? - 🌟 Built quality in from the start, leveraging modern development practices and proven technology stack - 👩💻 Small but experienced team with a very high bar in hiring - 🧘 Strong confidence in our automated testing suite and the quality of our strongly-typed code - 🤏 Keeping our pull request very small (median PR is less than 50 lines!) by leveraging stacked pull requests... Stacked pull request is a practice that Konrad brought to Isometric from his time at Meta and we were able to leverage it from the very beginning by using Graphite. It allows you to keep your changes very small (which makes code reviews faster, and higher quality) without the challenging overhead of managing branches. If you don't like waiting days and poking colleagues to get your PRs reviewed, we're hiring 😉 https://lnkd.in/eJTEebTT
