𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 “Let’s make process sexy!” That was my pitch as I forged to embed digital channels in the company I was working with. There are other ways to put it but the baseline remains - for all of the new capabilities we have across data, digital touch-points and AI, if we don’t understand business process and embed them accordingly, value is not realised. On my work and study tour I am looking to close that gap more - and finding many who are too 🙌 🇺🇸I hope the IAB Connected Commerce in NYC 17th & 18th will cover this, where I am currently. There is also Salesforce #Dreamforce in San Francisco this week. A biggy with great capability in #EinsteinAI 📣 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸 Sending people from a range of business functions to Tech Conferences helps get straight to those that will be thinking ‘how can this help me deliver what I need to do’. Not just the ICT or Digital teams. 🔥Fire Up Skills I am more fired up than ever to help get skills out there, especially to women. 🏆 Featured AI Leader: Laura Jeffords Greenberg🏆 We’re excited to present Laura as a Featured AI Leader. 1. How is AI impacting your work? AI has the potential to transform legal work and positively impact our profession. It can remove the boring, administrative, and repetitive tasks by automating them. This means we can focus on the important and interesting parts of legal work that requires human skills and judgment. By removing the tedious, manual work, AI can help transform legal profession, making legal jobs more fulfilling and valuable. 2. How do you use AI in your daily life? I use AI every day, both in my personal life and at work. At Worksome, as the Senior Director of Legal, I use AI tools to make our legal and compliance tasks easier and faster. For example, I use AI for reviewing contracts, drafting policies, and automating more complex and repetitive tasks. Outside of Worksome, I teach legal teams how to use AI tools and legal technology responsibly. I teach classes, deliver keynotes, and write articles about how I'm using AI in legal work. I hope to inspire other legal professionals to leverage the power of AI to improve the legal profession. 3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?  ChatGPT and Claude (looking at other legal specific AI tools like Leya, GC AI and CONCIDE) 4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI? If you're just starting out with AI, my advice is to experiment and play to see what it can do. This is especially true for legal professionals who might be used to the pressure of always being right. Start small, focusing on ways AI can help make your work easier or better. As you explore AI, think about how it fits into your specific job or industry, and look for real examples of how other people are using it. Most importantly, have fun! 5. Who should we follow in the AI space?  Cecilia Ziniti, CEO & Founder, GC AI Barbara Myhre Isaksen, AI Strategy, Todai 🇻🇮🇩🇴 Jazmia Henry (She/Her) Fouder, Iso AI Maaike Groenewege, Prompt engineering | Conversation design Charles T. Gray - PhD Data Science & Statistics 6. How can women in AI support each other? Women in AI can support each other by building strong networks, sharing knowledge and resources, and actively promoting diversity and inclusion within the field. This can involve participating in or creating mentorship programs, advocating for greater representation and visibility of women in AI, collaborating on research projects, sharing best practices for navigating challenges, and offering emotional support to one another. By fostering a sense of community and solidarity, women can create a more inclusive and supportive environment that empowers them to thrive in their AI careers. 💬 Join us in the comments to celebrate Laura and her leadership in the legal field and in AI!

Trusted Global AI Strategist | 2024 Must-Follow AI Leader | #BT150 Honoree | Seasoned Independent Board Director & Advisor | Speaker & Panel Guest | Forbes Connector Extraordinaire

🚀 If you’re diving into AI, sharing an *essential* for your checklist: evaluations (evals). Jessica Hall's latest post sheds light on why these are a game-changer for global leaders making AI decisions. Think of it this way: steering your AI strategy without evals is like driving while blindfolded. Evals are your way to ensure your AI is hitting the mark, staying on track with your business goals, and managing risks effectively. As Jess shared, Clem Delangue 🤗 of Hugging Face nails it: 'Evaluation is one of the most important steps, if not the most important, in AI.' Without it, your AI could drift off course, costing you time, money, and credibility. As she sums up: 🔍 Model Evaluation – Checks your LLM’s accuracy. 🔍 System Evaluation – Assesses how your system interacts with LLMs. 🌟 Key Evaluation Types: ✔ LLM as a Judge: Another LLM assesses outputs. ✔ User Feedback: Human evaluations of AI responses. ✔ Golden Datasets: Comparing results to pre-approved answers. ✔ Business Metrics: Linking AI performance to KPIs. ❓Why it matters: ✔Stability: Ensures your AI stays consistent. ✔Risk Management: Catches errors early. ✔Consistency: Delivers uniform quality. ✔Alignment: Keeps AI focused on your goals. ⚠ Beware: ✔Cost: Frequent evals can be pricey. ✔Privacy & Security: Handle data carefully. ✔Rushed Releases: Don’t cut corners. The short version? Integrate evals into your AI strategy. Align metrics with your goals, start early, build a flexible toolkit, and foster ongoing learning. ✨ Jess' insights are spot on and crucial for anyone looking to elevate their AI strategy. Highly recommend reading her full post - and following her. (And because you follow me, you already know she's a favorite.) Amazon CEO Andy Jassy says Gen AI saved $260 million and 4,500 developer years Amazon CEO Andy Jassy highlighted how the company's Gen AI assistant, Amazon Q, has revolutionized software development. The tool significantly reduced Java upgrade time from 50 days to hours, saving 4,500 developer-years and generating $260 million in efficiency gains. Then there is the publication by Sequoia David Cahn AI’s $600B Question David Cahn Published June 20, 2024 The AI bubble is reaching a tipping point. Navigating what comes next will be essential. In September 2023, I published AI’s $200B Question. The goal of the piece was to ask the question: “Where is all the revenue?” This clearly points to the massive gap between those capitalizing on AI and those that are asking the questions about the capitalization. Its also the gap between the know-it practitioners and don’t know it, experiencedly but heard and read about it experts. We are going to see massive gaps, in skillset and experiences as we embark on the AI 4.0 transformational journeys.
