First, the non-profit purpose is to gather the women in business who provide support to companies who want to increase their sales through training, coaching, assessments and consulting. We highlight these members on our website www.womensalespros.com. Second, the for profit side of Women Sales Pros is the virtual community championing more women in sales and sales leadership in companies with "male majority" sales teams - SaaS, tech, manufacturing, distribution, Fintech, financial services, utilities, and telecom. We host live events around the country to show women what a great role professional sales can be, and we help companies learn where to find, how to hire, and ways to retain top female reps.     Women in tech are often asked irrelevant or biased questions about their gender rather than their expertise. At the #ToastSummit, however, the script was flipped and executive-level men in tech were asked the same types of irrelevant questions that women frequently face. The goal is to highlight the stark differences in how men and women are treated in professional settings, using humour to shed light on a serious issue. Moderator Ada Slivinski asked a slew of questions of Tate Hackert, Derek Armstrong, Kevin Kliman and Court Ellingson, including: • Tell me about your experience working in tech as a man • What’s it like raising money as a founder, with your unique perspective as a man? • You’re young and probably thinking about starting a family, so how will that impact your role? • How will you tell investors about balancing being home baking sourdough while also building your little business? The Toast panel wrapped with the speakers offering an honest reflection of the privilege they have, how uncomfortable it feels to be asked questions that have nothing to do with experience and their work, and what it’s like to be different from everyone else in the room.

    The Power of She 💪 The 2024 Paris Olympics is special for a few reasons. It was in the city of light that women first competed in the #Olympics in 1900. And it’s in the French capital this summer where women and men athletes are represented in the competitions equally, for the first time ever! Not to mention, it's the first time the Games have offered support for #breastfeeding athletes and for Olympian parents with the first-ever nursery in the Athletes Village. This is huge. When women first entered the games, they made up just 2.2% of participants. So you better believe we’re celebrating that 50% 124 years later! Not only that, but women only competed in five sports then—now, any game must hold space for both men and women to compete.
