Since our inception in 2017, we’ve partnered with 38 organizations and provided funding for over 100 programs for women and girls-serving nonprofits in MA. Our work has impacted over 16,400 women and girls, leading to inspiring transformations such as: ✨ 100% of Confidence Day participants learned about projecting a professional image, financial literacy, and career pathways in multiple sectors and as entrepreneurs ~ Dress for Success Boston ✨ Over 80% of program participants agreed that: “I think women in STEM make the world a better place” ~ Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts ✨ 100% of 2024 graduates are going to college and 77% plan to major in STEM ~ Science Club for Girls By making multi-year investments in education, career and financial development, and leadership and mentoring programs, we are creating positive ripple effects for women, girls, and their surrounding communities 🌎 #organizationsforwomen #nonprofit #forwomen

Economic Mobility Pathways - EMPath is one of our amazing grantee partners offering career & financial empowerment programming to women in Massachusetts. With a three-year grant awarded in 2022, EMPath’s AMP Up Boston program uses economic mobility mentoring as a platform for participants to develop and practice the habits necessary for economic independence. Research shows that women live 5.5 years longer than men, highlighting the importance of financial literacy for women and girls. The Women’s Foundation of Boston is proud to support incredible nonprofit organizations across Massachusetts that empower women and girls with the tools to build healthy financial habits and to start saving early. Women's Money Matters, a 7-time Foundation grant recipient, offers impactful programming that builds financial wellness, confidence, and security for women and girls. Outcomes have included: 🟢 At program start, participants had $276 saved on average. At program completion, graduates had $1,060 saved on average, a 248% increase. 🟢 97% of graduates reported feeling confident in their ability to manage their finances at program end. 🟢 96% of graduates reported using a budget to manage their finances, up from 64% of participants at program start.
