Yesterday, alongside our partners at Coro New York Leadership Center, we led Strategy Day 1 of the 2025 Workforce Systems Leadership Program. The theme was "Finding Our Direction," and we focused on the priorities, goals, and challenges facing the NYC workforce development ecosystem at a time of great uncertainty. It was a fantastic, productive, and thought-provoking day. Huge thanks go out to our guest speakers/panelists, Stephanie Birmingham, Miles Elijah Gamble, Eli Dvorkin, Matthew Phifer, Jennifer Dillon, Je'Nean Jones Seo, and Reina U., who provided valuable insights on a critical question, namely "where do we go from here?" As always, shout out to Kara Campbell from Coro, who is a tremendous partner in this work.
