The YMCA of Snohomish County has been serving and strengthening our communities since 1901 and has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. The Y offers programs, services, and initiatives to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors. Our cause and passion is to strengthen our communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We support our communities through six membership branches, dozens of child care locations and youth development program sites, and an affiliate relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County. The Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the community's health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors. The Y is for everyone. We believe that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, welcomed, confident, connected, and secure.

Our first girls-only flag football clinic was a HUGE success! We can't wait to see these athletes on the field this fall!
⭐️🏈 GIRLS BELONG ON A FOOTBALL FIELD! ⭐️🏈 This week, we had 80 girls from ages 6-16 attend our Free Girls Only Flag Football clinic! A special thank you to coaches from the Seattle Spartans, Seattle Women’s Flag Football team, and Wolfpack for coming out to help and inspire! It was truly a special day to be a part of. Watching and making this video made me emotional with the impact that female representation in leadership positions has on youth. I feel very excited to continue creating inclusive opportunities for girls in sports! https://lnkd.in/gnrXtqhW
On Lifeguard Appreciation Day, we celebrate and honor the hard work and dedication of our lifeguards who play a crucial role in keeping our beaches and pools safe. Our lifeguards undergo rigorous training and certification to ensure the safety of all of our swimmers. Lifeguards not only possess strong swimming skills, but also need to be vigilant, quick-thinking, and able to respond to emergencies swiftly. Their commitment to saving lives and promoting water safety is truly commendable. So, on Lifeguard Appreciation Day, take a moment to thank the lifeguards at all of our branches for their service and dedication. They are the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to protect and rescue those in need. #ymcaofsnohomishcounty #lifeguardappreciationday

But we're not done...we need $11,000 to ensure that every child has the opportunity to attend camp. Your donation will make a significant impact in a child's life. And another huge shout out to Fortive for also choosing the Everett Family YMCA as one of their Annual Day of Caring projects. Fortive employees spent the day at our facility beautifying and cleaning up the grounds for our members and our community to enjoy. We are so appreciative of the continued support from our community partners!
We're grateful for community partners like Fortive! Thank you for selecting the Mukilteo Family YMCA as your Day of Caring Service Project. We appreciate your hard work in some hot weather to beautify our YMCA!
