Is there such a thing as relying too heavily on your org’s founder? Adam Kitchen, Co-Founder of Magnet Monsters, leading retention marketing agency & Yotpo Partners, explains that although his personal brand is thriving, he also pushes his agency to not just become “The Adam Kitchen Show” 📺 Agencies, like all businesses, need to make sure they’re strong enough on their own to thrive on their own  - which really shows the true strength of their founder 💪 Watch what else Adam has learned as a founder 👇

YOTPO 👏🏻 After getting lost on the subway (metro cards are indeed not scannable)… I made it to the best retention event there ever was. You just HAD to be there. Casual. Shots. Slides. No agenda. No rules. The freaking smartest people. It was incredible. Literally speechless. If you missed out, you MISSED OUT. Eli Weiss - glad I finally got to meet the legend in person. You’re crushing it. Yotpo is so lucky. I’m RSVP-ing for the next one right now. Save my spot. Yotpo Tomer Tagrin. - 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’m a marketing professional with an MBA specializing in developing automated CRM and digital marketing strategies in B2C industries.

Yesterday at #RetentionUncensored, I had the pleasure of moderating an Email Marketing discussion and wanted to share our Do's and Don'ts summary: DO: - A/B test before implementing changes. - Include educational emails in your welcome journey. - Think through and implement as many trigger scenarios as possible (1/5-star reviews, abandonment, entered/left a lifecycle). - Add a human touch because customers hate talking to robots (e.g., "Hi, this is Michelle"). - Include dynamic content to build evergreen templates you can set & forget. - Ask your CSM for ideas and help. DON'T: - Test new initiatives in Q4 (!!!) - Make a 180-degree change without testing the concept. - Send too many emails. - Automatically follow your VP’s advice if you believe it’s wrong—provide data to show otherwise. Thank you for this opportunity Yotpo ! Looking forward to the next one!
