On the anniversary of the October 7th massacre, we remember the many innocent lives lost on that horrific day and ever since. We mourn the 59 Darca students and alumni who have been murdered or killed in battle, and we continue to pray for our graduate, Omer Wenkert, who remains a hostage in Gaza. May their memories be a blessing. 🇮🇱🎗️

As Rosh Hashanah approaches, we at Youth Renewal Fund wish you a Shana Tova! In the wake of all that has recently transpired, we would like to share this uplifting and and inspiring performance with you all — The choir of Darca’s Ulpana High School in Netivot recently produced, from scratch, this powerful song that beautifully captures the grief of this past year, and mixes in themes from Rosh Hashana to offer a glimpse of hope. Their composition helps us make space for all that is broken, but not lose our faith that peace and transformation is just within our reach. May you all have a sweet new year and find it in your hearts this holiday season to make a difference in 5785. 🍎🍯

YRF Golf Tournament 2024 ⛳️☀️ There’s a reason we always call our golf outing the best day of the year…! Our YRF Community came together at Hamilton Farm Golf Club for a beautiful day in the sun full of golf, fun, and showing support for Darca Schools in Israel. Thank you very much to our dedicated Golf Chair Committee for all of their hard work — Stuart Angowitz Harlan Cherniak Jason Greenstein Jacquie Greyserman Max Greyserman Ivan Lehon Jamie Schweid — We couldn’t do this without you! YRF 2nd Annual Pickleball Invitational 🏓 Our YRF Community gathered in Central Park for a sunny day on the courts in support of Darca Schools in Israel. We played pickleball, packed backpacks for our Darca Students, and learned more about YRF. And a big Mazel Tov to our tournament winners! 🏆 Thank you to our hosts, Lauren Henry & Jacob Henschel for organizing such a beautiful day, as well as to all of our guests who joined us, and to @pieceswpurpose for collaborating with us on this impactful backpack initiative. 🇮🇱

YRF LA Speaker Series - 9/12/24 🌟 Featuring Guest Speaker: Ariella Loewenstein, Regional Director, ADL Los Angeles Yesterday, we hosted a group of young professionals and YRF Leadership in Los Angeles for our 5th LA Speaker Series & Breakfast event. Our speaker, Ariella Loewenstein, gave an informative presentation on “Rising Antisemitism in the US: Going Beyond the Statistics,” followed by a meaningful discussion with the group. We are grateful for Ariella’s expertise as we navigate these difficult times as Jews and Israel supporters in today’s world. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
