  • At YWCA Greater Lafayette, Joseline Cruz serves as a Bilingual Women's Wellness Navigator, guiding and supporting women—especially from underserved communities—through the healthcare system. Her mission is to ensure every woman has the support and resources she needs to take control of her health and well-being. Joseline shared "Hispanic Heritage Month is a time of deep personal significance for me. It’s an opportunity to celebrate my cultural roots and the vibrant traditions of the Hispanic community. It’s not just about reflecting on our history and achievements, but sharing the richness of our heritage with others." Growing up, Joseline experienced firsthand the challenges many in the Hispanic community face, such as language barriers and limited access to healthcare. Today, she uses her heritage and personal experiences to connect with the women she serves, advocating for culturally sensitive care and empowering them to overcome obstacles.
