A small product development company in the heart of Scottsdale seeks a full-time account administrator to assist our Executive Management Team. Our Company works directly with the largest retailers in the US and Canada and is looking for an individual that is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the entire business of designing, manufacturing, shipping, and selling products to big-box retail. Job duties will include general office operations, communications with our manufacturing partners, logistical tracking support, sales support, and customer order management.  You will be actively involved in the entire business and will be invited to participate with management in new product development and product cost tracking. Other general responsibilities will be related to answering phones, typing proposals, tracking purchase orders, managing vendor paperwork, planning meetings, making travel arrangements, data entry, greeting client's and/or customers, scanning, and mailing. Professional demeanor and dress required.  This is a great opportunity for any candidate looking to start a career in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

·        Strong problem solving skills: This is not a purely administrative role. You will be expected, encouraged and developed to solve problems.

·        Willingness to work independently: We are in constant daily communication with our manufacturing partners and sales team though out the world. You will be expected to cope with issues on your own with minimal guidance.

·        Willing to take a risk: We will empower you to make decisions. As a result, we do not want an order taker, but an individual that can recognize the situation, form their own conclusion, and execute. Mistakes happen. You must be able to reasonably justify your choices.

·        Organized and Attention to DetailDetails are critical in our business, and we need an individual that is able to pay attention to the small details and organize data / documents in a manner that others can quickly access.  


Minimum qualifications:

Must be well versed in Excel, Word, Outlook, Calendar, PowerPoint and One Drive;

Must have proven experience in multitasking;

Must understand what it takes to support a sales team;

Must be able to learn and operate within multiple retailer portals and processes.


Additional Experience / Qualifications Preferred:

Consumer Products / Logistics

Office Manager: 2 years

Product Development: 2 years

Executive Assistant: 2 years


Salary / Benefits:

Salary Range: $45,000 to $65,000, plus bonus

Health Insurance: 100% Employee (Health / Dental / Vision)

Retirement: IRA Retirement Plan
