The Account Executive will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, administering, and controlling the sales activity to help identify markets, meet sales goals, and perform those activities necessary to achieve sales goals and the objective of obtaining maximum growth, gross margin, and profitability.

The Account Executive will be accountable to, and supervised by, the District Sales Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Seek new opportunities constantly with both stand-alone and chain accounts within established geographic territory.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by the Sales Management Team.
  • Supervise established client accounts.
  • Prepare a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up, closings, and adherence to targets.
  • Service customer clients, including identifying and resolving their specific concerns.
  • Communicate new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to proper company staff.
  • Prepare schedules and action plans meant to identify prospective customers and list the clients’ contact numbers.
  • Present and sell company services and products to current and prospective clients.
  • Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting after field activity.
  • Develop and maintain the existing product knowledge and sales materials.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain new and established client relationships.
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery of company products and services.
  • Participate in marketing events like trade shows, seminars, and telemarketing events.
  • Manage account services through follow-up and quality checks.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Coordinate with company staff to achieve the work required in closing sales.
  • Provide training to new sales employees.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing plans of the company as required.


Qualifications:


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Pleasant and exceeding personality.
  • Travel to current customers and potential account prospects is required. Travel, within established geographic territory, 100% of the time.
  • Attendance of trade shows and all monthly, quarterly, and annual sales meetings is required.
  • Excellent customer service, and time management skills.
  • Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build and deliver presentations in person, via computer, and system applications.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion and advertising techniques.
  • Able to create, write, and edit composed manuals using various computer and app-based systems.
  • Excellent computer application skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to persuade and convince others.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • BA or BS in marketing or related disciplines and/or five years of job-related experience.
  • Must be skilled in sales techniques.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer experience, preferably with all Microsoft applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The position will require frequent walking, standing, lifting, and bending.
  • Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must maintain valid auto insurance coverage.
