Mercor is recruiting Accounting Specialists for research projects with the leading AI labs. This position pays $50-65 USD/hour.This project is designed to evaluate how well AI models can perform the types of online research which working professionals do each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive online research on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes.
Develop accounting tasks that effectively represent real-world challenges.
Create detailed metrics and strategies to assess the quality of research and evaluate AI model performance in accounting applications.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a reputed consulting/accounting/software firm.
Proven ability in synthesizing complex market data into actionable strategies.
Exceptional written communication skills.
MBA/BA/MA from one of the top 20 universities in the U.S. is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong educational background.
Having taxation, controller, or auditor experience at PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Robert Half, or similar.
Requirements:
No specific AI experience required.
Ability to thrive in asynchronous work environments.
Are skilled at online research.
Have high attention to detail.
With respect to pay and legal status:
Your hourly pay will be $50 - $65 USD/hour.
We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
You log the number of hours you spend each week.
You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
