We are looking to hire 2 entry-level actuaries on our new graduate pathway across our US Reserving function. You will be expected to be a dynamic and pro-active actuarial student ready to make their way into the insurance industry with a growing company that has combined a niche and global presence well.
This is a high visibility role which collaborates with finance, underwriting, pricing, and various levels of management. There are abundant opportunities for internal growth and this role is open to either hybrid in NYC or remote.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform quarterly reserve analyses for reinsurance contracts across many property & casualty lines of business
Build and update reserving models
Construct databases and PowerBI dashboards for reporting
Communicate results to finance, underwriting, and management
Qualifications:
Strong technical and problem solving skills
Experience in SQL, VBA, or other programming languages preferred
1-2 Actuarial Exams
Strong interpersonal skills
