Air Quality Engineer

CSG Talent is partnering with one of our major clients to assist the growth across the US, within the firms Air and Compliance team.

They are rapidly expanding their Environmental/Air Compliance division and looking for people across Mid-Atlantic or Southeast offices. Other remote locations would also be available.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on air quality permitting and compliance projects.
• Interpret and apply Federal and state environmental regulations.
• Conduct calculations for reporting, permit applications, and compliance.
• Prepare and communicate technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients and regulators nationwide.
• Follow Health & Safety protocols and company principles.
• Travel as required.

Skills/Experience

• BS in chemical/environmental engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with air quality modeling (e.g., AERMOD, AERSCREEN) is a plus.
• Proficiency in permit applications and air emission calculations.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel; GIS or CAD experience is a plus.
