Be part of our mission-driven team! As a dedicated full-service distributor serving our Veterans, active-duty service members, and military families, we are currently seeking an Applications Analyst. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting business applications, investigating issues, and proactively identifying solutions. The Applications Analyst actively contributes to application lifecycle management, performs upgrades, and explores innovative IT solutions, showcasing a comprehensive proficiency in the field.

Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of the architecture, function, and interrelationships of company applications and systems.

Identify opportunities for enhancing the capabilities of business applications.

Collaborate with various departments and management to devise solutions and address inefficiencies.

Provide maintenance and support for applications, resolving technical issues efficiently.

Tackle end-user support issues related to enterprise applications.

Identify opportunities for optimizing the application infrastructure.

Actively participate in application implementation projects, collaborating with external vendors and consultants.

Gather requirements, develop specifications, and produce comprehensive documentation.

Utilize the service desk system and adhere to change management processes for documentation and tracking.

Support additional needs outside the primary job role based on skills and company requirements.

Position Requirements

Qualifications & Education:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems.

Possess 5+ years of relevant experience.

Distribution industry experience is preferred, with additional consideration for those with medical equipment and pharmaceuticals industry experience.

Hands-on experience with CRM processes and systems; familiarity with MS Dynamics CRM is advantageous.

Experience with ERP software capabilities and business processes; familiarity with Dynamics GP and/or Dynamics Business Central is a plus.

Solid knowledge and experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.

Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem resolution capabilities.

Experience in producing effective user, training, and support documentation.

Additional considerations for candidates with data integration and EDI experience.

Microsoft Power platform experience is a plus.

Development or scripting experience in MS SQL or a similar database system is advantageous
