Your Role

Vital Farms’ Associate Manager of Consumer Engagement is responsible for developing and executing consumer advocacy programs that drive engagement with some of our most loyal consumers and inspire them to advocate on our behalf. This role is accountable for refining and growing our two existing programs and launching new programs from the ground up based on consumer insights that will enable us to build long-term, trusted relationships with our Vital Farms consumers.

  • Measure and track overall program performance against KPI’s and make data-driven improvements
  • Assist with the quantifying program impact and strategic recommendation for future of programs

The Ambassador Program, which we call “VFF”, responsibilities include:

  • Lead the recruiting and onboarding process for brand ambassadors
  • Develop and own the 12-month ambassador campaign roadmap that is anchored in amplifying key brand campaigns and initiatives
  • Manage the ambassador content strategy: create newsletters, social media content, and other communication materials to drive engagement and awareness of the program
  • Manage day to day communications with ambassadors, ensuring they have a premium experience with our brand that builds trust and positive long-term relationships
  • Measure and track overall program performance against KPI’s and make data-driven improvements

Other Key Responsibilities Include

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration to align consumer engagement initiatives with broader business goals and initiatives
  • Budget management
  • Implement a digital tool to support the ambassador program
  • External vendor management
  • Nurture and engage with our loyal consumer database through various touchpoints annually
  • Ensure brand messaging is up to date across all program touchpoints
  • Stay apprised on the latest social and industry trends, tools and strategies and understand how they may help grow the business
  • Use storytelling to connect to brand objectives to consumer needs and ambassador communication
  • Commit to cultivating an inclusive community ecosystem that resonates with consumers and represents the vast experiences of the people in our community

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in related community marketing communications roles, with some in-house experience preferred, with 1+ years operating within a strategic capacity

  • Proficiency using Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for Vital Farms and understanding of our commitment to honesty and transparency. You give a sh*t about ethically minded food production and purpose-driven brands.
  • Proven track record of executing ambassador and community-building programs that are delivered timely and within budget.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to effectively convey messages across all stakeholders.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, problem solving and solution-focused environment. Said another way: you don’t like monotony!
