Job Description:

• Support the testing of Meeting Room and Event Space technologies specifically as it pertains to Google Meet interoperability.
• Analyze system requirements and functional specifications to develop the test plans for the use-cases under the scope of this engagement.
• Coordinate testing schedules with Google’s engineering and business operations teams.
• Will execute test cases in Test Tracker, and will document and triage issues identified during testing.
• Analyze the system application logs to support the development team.
• Will create PLX queries and PLX dashboards for reporting purposes.
• Will track, maintain, update and install devices and operating systems for test equipment.
• Will build upon domain knowledge and proactively identify problems in the testing procedures, helping to validate whether the application changes serve the intended business functionality.
• Basic awareness of software release processes (beta / preprod).
• Preferred awareness of professional A/V equipment and formats (SDI, RS-232, HDMI/DisplayPort) consistent with AVIXA CTS certification
• Prefer comfort and awareness with general purpose PCs: Windows, ChromeOS, Mac.Linux knowledge is a plus. Basic SSH and Linux awareness is a plus.
• Preferred awareness of configuration methods like via http/https on-device configuration
• Preferred networking comfort with basic IT awareness (IP Address / Mac Address / Ethernet/ Subnets); e.g. skills equivalency found in AVIXA ANP certification or Cisco CCNA.
• Previous experience with TestTracker a plus, or experience with QA Test Tracker software(Xray / Tuskr / Tricentis qTest / TestRail) a plus. Required comfort using advanced webapps can also suffice.
• Preferred familiarity with Q-SYS hardware (similar to Q-sys level 2 training) and Crestron NVX hardware (similar to Crestron AV over IP course 10075)
