Christian Professionals Network Worldwide Foundation is an organization dedicated to fostering a nurturing community to combat relationship poverty by providing faith-driven mentorship and community outreach for the homeless.


Role Description

This is a remote and volunteer position for a Board Member at Christian Professionals Network Worldwide Foundation. As a Board Member, you will be responsible for actively participating in board meetings, providing strategic guidance and direction, contributing to decision-making processes, and ensuring the organization's mission and goals are being fulfilled. You will collaborate with other board members and actively engage in initiatives to support the growth and success of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Governance and Oversight: As a Board member, you will provide strategic governance and oversight to ensure CPNWF operates in alignment with its mission, vision, and values.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate actively in strategic planning sessions to guide the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Financial Stewardship: Review and approve budgets, financial reports, and ensure proper fiscal management in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Advocacy and Networking: Represent CPNWF in professional and community networks, advocating for our mission and fostering partnerships that advance our impact.
  • Committee Engagement: Serve on committees as needed, such as finance, fundraising, governance, or program development, leveraging your expertise for targeted initiatives.
  • Fundraising and Support: Contribute to fundraising efforts, donor cultivation, and personally contribute an amount that is meaningful and comfortable for you to sustain and expand CPNWF programs and services.
  • Ethical Leadership: Uphold the highest ethical standards, transparency, and integrity in all interactions and decisions on behalf of CPNWF.



Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and values
  • Experience in board governance or nonprofit organizations
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge or experience in fields relevant to the organization's mission (e.g., business, finance, marketing, etc.)
