We are looking for a Business Development Specialist - Service to join our growing organization!

Qualifications

General Position Summary

The Business Development Specialist, Service role is responsible for establishing and driving a selling program in North America and the UK aimed at generating leads and increasing sales for the Customer Service division. This role focuses on meeting or exceeding annual targets and goals surrounding the promotion, sale and execution of Billable Services including Service Agreements, Preventative Maintenance contracts, Ext. Warranty contracts and more. This role requires the developing of metrics and KPIs to track performance, SLA, First-Time Fix (FTF) rates, margin, and customer retention. The Business Development professional will also lead the training of Solution Selling across cross-functional teams and establish incentive programs to drive increased revenue and performance.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

Training and Development:

  • Lead the training of Solution Selling techniques to cross-functional teams to enhance their selling capabilities and improve customer interactions.
  • Develop and implement incentive programs to drive increased revenue and performance across the division.
  • Work closely with our field technicians for lead and lead generation while reporting results to Sales Ops for increased company revenue.

Sales Program Development:

  • Establish and manage a selling program in North America and the UK to generate leads and increase sales for the Customer Service division.
  • Leadership Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to develop their leadership skills and maximize their productivity.
  • Maximize Productivity: Implement strategies and practices to maximize the productivity of the team and the overall division.
  • P&L Management: Oversee the profit and loss management to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Service and New Equipment Sales Development: Develop strategies to drive service and new equipment sales growth.
  • Service Program Management: Manage and optimize service programs to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in business development and sales, particularly within the customer service sector
  • Ability to lead and train cross-functional teams in Solution Selling techniques
  • Strong understanding of metrics, KPIs, and financial management, including P&L
  • Ability to handle changing conditions, stress, and ambiguity in daily activities

Education And Experience Requirements

  • 8+ Years of Experience in Business Development or Sales
  • 5+ Years of Leadership Experience
  • Proven experience in establishing and managing selling programs and achieving sales targets
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (oral & written)
  • Strong process orientation, highly disciplined
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in using sales and service management software and tools
