What an unforgettable, sleepless, inspiring week at #NYCClimateWeek. The climate crisis can be terrifying and paralyzing when you read about it and watch the effects, most of which are being borne by the most vulnerable among us. Then, you spend a week with smart, passionate, and beautiful souls who dedicate their lives with relentless brilliance to meet the challenge. Here are a few of my highlights from the week:
⚡️A decade ago, SecondMuse embarked on building a climate tech economy in NY, transforming the Brooklyn Navy Yard into a hub of innovation thanks to visionary moves by the New York City Economic Development Corporation and NYSERDA.
⚡️At the For ClimateTech event, we showcased 40+ entrepreneurs with groundbreaking technologies ready for market, highlighting real and investable solutions amid a $100 trillion climate transition. This is the largest economic shift in human history, and we’re not alone in this journey. The momentum is tangible, proving that we're meeting the moment together.
