Your Contribution:


We are looking for a hands-on Business Strategy & Operations professional to help build and execute on opportunities to continuously improve our operations and customer experience by working with our suppliers. You will own onboarding and day to day relationship management & correspondence to ensure our operational standards of excellence are met.


What we’re looking for:


  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in consulting, high growth tech, or other, comparable roles
  • History of experience in applying critical thinking and analytical skills to business and operational problems
  • Excellent project management skills, organizing and making progress on multiple work streams at a time
  • Strong outbound email and call competencies to build supplier relationships
  • Ability to structure and define requirements for ambiguous problems for yourself and team members if applicable
  • A “can do” attitude with a focus on customer empathy and service, recognizing that no job is too small to be important for our customers
  • Deep skills and experience analyzing data to help root-cause problems, make decisions and set goals
  • Bonus: Basic or advanced SQL skills


Key responsibilities:


  • Own a portfolio of supplier accounts and associated initiatives to drive sustained operational improvements and meet business objectives
  • Conduct and communicate results of analysis during regularly scheduled meetings with supplier accounts to ensure competitive product pricing and optimal product mix
  • Align on key process flows and infrastructure with a focus on maximizing operational efficiencies with Torch and external stakeholders
  • Own onboarding process of new supplier accounts, making sure we are set up for success from day zero
  • Understand customer needs throughout the order lifecycle and prioritize improvements for our customers with partners across operations, product and engineering
  • Own the process for scoping, planning, and working cross functionally to execute revenue generating initiatives with our suppliers
