Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in University Park, PA
This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work
not limited to:
- Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned
- Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned
- Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned
- Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within
- Monitor’s subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans
- Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field
- Assists with compliance of the AECOM Hunt safety program that creates a
- Work with document control systems, project management systems and
accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals,
meeting minutes and other documents as required.
- When requested, interfaces with client, architect, and design professionals to
- Contribute to building good communications between field management,
contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and
company quality standards.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge
and productivity.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Environmental/Management, or similar major, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience working for a large general contractor.
- Previous relevant internship experience.
- Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
- Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Relocation assistance is available for this position.
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
