Content Director "Maker"
Hybrid Schedule: In Office Tuesday-Thursday
Role:
As a Content Director / “Maker”, you will be responsible for collaborating with Creative and other Agency teams as you develop creative briefs from initial concepts into engaging content, ranging from nimble social media production to larger commercial spots. Your skills and expertise will elevate the production while offering creative solutions to the unique challenges each project presents. You will be working closely with all agency production staff members as a Director, Cinematographer, Editor, and all-around creative mind as you create content across a variety of visual mediums for all of Deutsch’s clients.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of assigned projects and collaborate with the Creative team to ensure the creative vision / execution is consistent throughout all stages of production.
- Demonstrate a hands-on production mindset by finding practical solutions for projects with limited resources.
- Demonstrate technical abilities as a Cinematographer, and ability to design the look / lighting of a project appropriate for the creative brief, as well as operate your own equipment.
- Become familiar with a wide variety of media production; develop skills and techniques while building relationships with industry professionals (Food Styling, Production Design, Etc.).
- Be a team player, leader, and collaborator within the agency.
- Become familiar with various client accounts and brand identities.
- Learn general post-production processes and techniques, both when collaborating with Steelhead Post teams, and when editing your own projects.
- Clearly communicate project issues and creative solutions with Agency teams.
- Demonstrate cooperation and versatility when responding to a variety of situations.
Requirements:
- Portfolio of work demonstrating your diverse skillset and creative sensibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a great, fast paced, and talented production and creative teams.
- Innovative and creative thinking, and the ability to react quickly in an evolving production environment.
- Production experience with both video and stills camera platforms and lighting equipment.
- Proficiency in post-production software such as Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and After Effects
Salary:
The range for this role is $70-75K. Pay is dependent upon many factors ranging from experience, training, transferable skills, and business needs. The pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
