This is a remote role within the US. However, if you reside within a 35-mile radius of the Draper or El Segundo office, there is an executive expectation for you to travel to the office two days per month.

We're searching for a Contracts Associate/Manager to join our vibrant team at the forefront of technology. The position will report to the Company’s Senior Corporate Counsel, and in order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, the position will follow a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the Company’s El Segundo headquarters two days a month.

What You Will Do

  • Engage in the review, understanding, and drafting of various commercial agreements, including SaaS Agreements, SOWs, reseller and vendor agreements, NDAs, and more, with a keen eye on safeguarding the company’s interests and fostering value.
  • Learn to navigate the complexities of compliance requirements, developing the skill to draft necessary exceptions in RFP proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams across Accounting, Sales, IT, and Support, contributing to process improvements and risk mitigation strategies within the contracts lifecycle.
  • Master the art of contract administration, adhering to our company’s policies, legal standards, and customer needs while applying sound business judgment.
  • Cultivate meaningful internal and external relationships, supporting our sales and renewals teams, and becoming an integral part of our company’s success.
  • Receive guidance and support in providing advice on contract generation, and participate actively in developing core contract management processes.

  • Eagerness to develop proficiency in tools and software that support contract management, such as Microsoft Office, DocuSign, Salesforce, and AI related software.

A Plus, But Not Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Contracts
  • Any coursework or internships that have exposed you to legal, business, or tech environments. A law degree is considered a plus, providing a solid foundation of analytical skills that will be beneficial in navigating contract complexities.
  • Participation in extracurricular activities that demonstrate your leadership skills, teamwork, and commitment to personal growth.
  • A proactive approach to learning, whether through online courses, workshops, or self-study, especially in areas related to contracts, technology innovations, or business strategies.
  • Preference for Los Angeles based employees to foster in-person interaction in the Company’s headquarters on a bi-weekly basis.
