We specialize in business-to-business strategies across the channels that matter most to achieving our clients’ goals. Our team also works with nonprofit organizations and government agencies that are addressing some of the most pressing issues in our communities.

CONNECTIVE Agency is looking to add a copywriter to our team to continue expanding our creative writing and content marketing services. We’re looking for talented people who have a solid track record of business writing, content marketing and creative writing experience. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have an acute focus on detail and a relentless commitment to quality, while partnering with teammates to ensure every project is delivered with excellence.

Our team gets to craft content for our clients across a wide variety of mediums including: websites, social media, marketing materials, white papers, annual reports, executive presentations, blog articles, internal communications, and brand campaigns. We're looking for someone who is a team player, loves to learn, does their homework, and will seek to clearly represent our clients’ brand positioning, key messages and style.

Candidates should be able to work with a high degree of independence while collaborating closely across the team. Copywriters on our team are valued for their ability to research, write, proof, connect with clients, understand their voice and nail messaging with every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivers on writing projects with a high degree of creativity and quality to help our clients create authentic connections with their key audiences
• Goes deep to understand clients’ business models, plans and objectives to craft copy that is aligned with who they are and what they do
• Is a productive member of the team who delivers on deadline with consistently high quality
• Strong aptitude for client service and client relationship management
• Contributes to research + planning for accounts
• Clearly presents and ‘sells’ writing concepts connecting their ideas to the clients’ objectives
• Deliver excellent services to our clients on every single project

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent required
• 2-3 years of experience copywriting
• Agency/client relationship management experience a plus
• Expertise in/follows AP Style
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Is organized, punctual and technically proficient
• Has an innate intellectual and creative curiosity
• Has a “challenge accepted” attitude to slay small tasks and big projects — with the same level of care and enthusiasm
