Uru Sports is a venture-backed, early-stage sports technology startup recently backed by Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech. We founded Uru Sports to empower athletes to reach their full potential off the field of play as they transition into their next chapter.


We are working with a fast growing organization in the Sports Tech space.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients have a seamless experience with sports technology products and services. As a Customer Success Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving customer satisfaction, and facilitating product adoption and growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Provide personalized assistance, product demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure clients derive maximum value from sports technology solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including coaches, athletes, and sports organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients and communicate it to the product development and marketing teams. Advocate for customer needs internally and contribute to product enhancements based on customer input.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation, FAQs, and resources to assist clients in using our sports tech products independently.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field
  • Experience competing at an elite level (College, Semi-Pro, Pro, Olympics, Paralympics)
  • Proven experience in customer success or account management roles, preferably within the sports technology industry.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications.
