Data Management Team Lead

The Data Management Lead (Data Quality) will play a pivotal role in enabling the Data Governance team by providing advanced tooling solutions and creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) to streamline data processes.

This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles, data cataloging, data lineage, data governance, and the overall management of the data journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for driving data excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, implement, and manage tools that support data governance initiatives with a focus on data quality.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to integrate governance tools with existing systems.
• Ensure that tools meet the needs of the Data Governance team and facilitate efficient data management processes.
• Design and develop POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and value of new data management tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Technical Lead and 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
• Experience with Data Quality Engineering and Data Management.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with data governance tools (e.g., MS Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
• Experience with large scale data integration and/or modernization projects experience
• Strong experience with data quality, data wrangling, data cataloging and data lineage.
• Knowledge of data management principles and best practices.
