Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Data Analytics:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable analytical solutions.
  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to streamline research processes, improve patient outcomes, and advance research initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as regression analysis, multivariate analysis, time-series analysis, supervised machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, fine-tuning large language models for regression and classification, and other appropriate methods to analyze complex datasets.
  • Employ real-time analytics for monitoring.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms.

Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion In Data Analysis

  • Incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations into the analysis of clinical trial data to ensure sensitivity to disparities in patient demographics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve equity in healthcare access and outcomes through data-driven insights.

Mentorship

  • Provide mentorship to junior data analysts to ensure effective execution of roles and responsibilities.

Quality Assurance And Control

  • Data wrangling and preprocessing pipelines.
  • Proficient in utilizing APIs to extract data.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Reporting And Communication

  • Strong communication skills to present results clearly and concisely to different target audiences, including stakeholders and technical team members.
  • Prepare detailed reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on analytic insights.

Requirements

  • Advanced academic qualifications with a Master's or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Biostatistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science).
  • Significant experience in life-science analytics.
  • Exposure to clinical research.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player that collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in working with enterprise-scale digital systems.
  • Ability to code in R and Python.
  • Ability to use other data visualization platforms.
